Everything you need to know before your visit to Esthétique Skin.

1. What are your business hours?

Esthétique Skin is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.

2. What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

3. What happens if I miss my appointment?

If you do not arrive for your scheduled appointment and have not contacted us in advance, you will be charged 100% of the scheduled service price. Each appointment time is reserved specifically for you, so we appreciate advance notice whenever possible.

4. What happens if I’m late for my appointment?

If you’re running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Arriving late may shorten your treatment time so we can remain on schedule for the next client. If you arrive significantly late, we cannot always guarantee that the full service can be completed.

5. Can teenagers receive facials at Esthétique Skin?

Yes. Our Teen Facial is designed for clients ages 11–18 and is customized to the unique needs of teen skin. Parent or legal guardian consent is required for clients under 18.

6. Can I receive a treatment while taking Accutane (isotretinoin)?

Clients currently taking isotretinoin may not be eligible for certain exfoliating, resurfacing, or advanced skin treatments. For advanced resurfacing treatments, clients must be off isotretinoin for a minimum of 6 months. Additional restrictions may apply depending on the treatment and your skin condition, and medical clearance may be required.

7. Can I have a facial after Botox or dermal fillers?

Please let us know if you’ve recently received Botox, dermal fillers, or other injectable treatments. Depending on the treatment area and service requested, a waiting period may be required before treatments involving facial massage, exfoliation, devices, pressure, or manipulation. If you’re unsure, please contact us before booking.

8. Can I receive treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Some skincare ingredients, chemical peels, devices, and advanced treatments may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please let us know before your appointment so we can determine whether your treatment should be modified or postponed.

9. Should I reschedule if I have a cold sore, infection, sunburn, or irritated skin?

Yes, depending on the condition. Treatments cannot be performed over active cold sores, contagious skin conditions, open lesions, or areas of active infection. Treatments may also need to be postponed if your skin has significant irritation, inflammation, open wounds, or sunburn. Please contact us before your appointment if you’re unsure.

10. What should I tell my esthetician before my treatment?

Please tell us about any medications, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent cosmetic or dermatological procedures, and changes to your health or skin. This includes recent laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, waxing, threading, surgery, Botox, fillers, or other injectables.

11. Can Esthétique Skin modify or decline a treatment?

Yes. Your skin will be assessed before your appointment. If we believe a treatment may not be appropriate or could compromise your skin’s health, we may modify, postpone, or decline the service. Your safety and skin health always come first.
